RadioKillaZ is a UK jungle and breakbeat project whose work connects cut-up breaks, heavy sub-bass and sound-system pressure with the enduring language of dubplates, MC-ready rhythms and pirate-radio culture. Its productions move between jungle, hardcore-rave energy and lower-tempo breaks without treating those forms as separate traditions.
The project’s early catalogue established a broad breakbeat framework rather than a single fixed tempo. New Future EP, released in 2012, brought together “New Future,” “Power To The People,” “Ganja Tune” and “In My Mind” in a bass-led, rave-informed set of tracks.
System EP followed in 2013 through Radiokillaz Recordings, pairing “System” with “Crime.” Classified in the breaks and breakbeat field, the release sharpened RadioKillaZ’s dialogue with the UK continuum, where jungle references could be recast for different club speeds and DJ contexts.
Further releases across platforms including Passenger, Warehouse Wax and Top Drawer Digital extended that approach. The music remained centred on forceful break programming and low-end impact, while drawing on the rhythmic vocabulary shared by rave, jungle and UK bass.
R Streets EP, issued by Killa Kutz in 2016, made that flexibility especially clear. “Return of The Sound Bwoy,” “Deep Down,” “R Streets” and “No Holds Barred VIP” combine bass weight, breaks and soundboy imagery; “Deep Down,” in particular, was framed in the breaks and UK bass space rather than as a conventional full-tempo jungle cut.
RadioKillaZ developed a longstanding connection with Top Drawer Digital, appearing on the label’s compilations before its first dedicated EP there. “Whose The Gangsta” appeared on Top Drawer Digital X in 2019, placing the project within the label’s rave-facing network of breakbeat and jungle producers.
Send You To Hell / Argon marked RadioKillaZ’s first EP for Top Drawer Digital in 2022. The two-track release distilled the project’s dark jungle breaks approach: rugged rave breakbeats, sub-heavy pressure and an economy suited to direct dancefloor use.
That relationship continued with “Sound Attack,” included on the 2023 compilation Abstractions 3: Jungle Techno Breaks. The track placed RadioKillaZ’s break-led sound alongside the future-jungle and j-tek directions cultivated by the label.
In the 2020s, RadioKillaZ also became closely associated with Concrete Jungle Music, the London-based label platform identified with the project. Releases there return openly to jungle and hardcore vocabulary while retaining the breaks-oriented foundations established in the earlier catalogue.
Collaboration remains part of this later phase. “Slave to the Rhythm” united RadioKillaZ with Harry Rox, while the 2024 release Are You Ready / Killa Sound paired the project with Ldubs and Harry Rox. Take 2 / Fear of Abyss also credits Harry Rox and Animatrix.
Concrete Jungle releases including In The Jungle / Pure Evil, 10 Minute Warning / Under Pressure, Soundboy Requiem EP and Hardcore Jungle have maintained the focus on direct rave energy, bass pressure and selector-minded functionality. “All Selectors,” released in 2026, continues that sound-system-facing thread.
RadioKillaZ occupies a contemporary position in UK breakbeat culture where jungle’s older codes remain active material rather than nostalgia. Its catalogue links breakbeat pacing, dark jungle textures and hardcore-rave references through music built for DJs, dubplate-minded sessions and bass-heavy dancefloors.
