Prism B.R.K is a London-based UK producer working across hardcore breaks, rave breaks and the jungle-techno edge of contemporary breakbeat. The project has developed a compact catalogue focused on forceful break programming, rave-derived rhythmic pressure and bass-led club construction.
Prism B.R.K has been closely associated with Top Drawer Digital Records and its Bass Elements orbit, a UK platform whose catalogue connects jungle, old skool hardcore, breaks and rave breaks. That setting places the project within a contemporary strand of breakbeat culture that treats early-rave references as active production tools rather than archival gestures.
“Area 8 / Burning Love,” released in 2022 through Top Drawer Digital, established this approach in a four-track format: the two original cuts were accompanied by instrumental versions. “Area 8” also appeared on the label’s Abstractions 2: Jungle - Techno - Breaks compilation.
The Yard Krew EP followed later in 2022 as a central Prism B.R.K release for Top Drawer Digital. Across “Yard Krew,” “Let Loose,” “Keep Em Moving” and “Lulus Trip,” the EP frames its material explicitly as hardcore breaks, balancing direct rave energy with breakbeat detail suited to contemporary sets.
In 2023, Prism B.R.K issued the independent Begsy / Dred Work release. Described as jungle techno, the two-track release extends the project’s rhythmic vocabulary toward tougher, techno-inflected jungle forms; “Begsy” was also shared through the Prism B.R.K SoundCloud profile.
The same period brought compilation appearances including “Skin Up” on Hardcore Energy Introducing (Vol. 3), “MK Ultra” on its fourth volume, and “XXX” on Top Drawer Digital’s Abstractions 3. “XXX” later appeared in the mixed edition of Abstractions 3, reinforcing the project’s compatibility with breakbeat and UK bass-oriented DJ programming.
“Embrace 24,” released in 2024, continues the project’s run of concise club-focused material. Prism B.R.K’s output is defined less by a fixed revivalist template than by the exchange between hardcore breaks, future-jungle textures and rave-techno momentum.
