AndrewFx is the project of Andrés Ramos Pérez, born in 1987 on the island of La Palma, in the Canary Islands, Spain. Beatport's official artist biography states that birthplace and year, and that he took guitar lessons as a child. The civil name is on store credits: Qobuz lists Andres Ramos Perez as composer on Fever Dream, and the same credit appears on titles such as Take Me Higher, Dark Soul, Chips, Deep Hour and Wanna Be.
His own Beatport text sets the production timeline. In 2001 he began experimenting with Acid Pro and ModPlug Tracker, without a serious discographic career. He paused, returned in 2005 on FL Studio, and left the project again years later. The decisive turn is 2022: he started treating production as a real job, posted music on social networks and sent tracks first to Andalusian labels. After a positive response he widened those submissions to foreign imprints. He writes that he had not expected to see his music released — it had been one of his dreams.
The commercial catalogue therefore belongs to 2022 onward, even though the first experiments date from 2001. Early titles of the current phase include Don't Ya Stand, Dark Soul, Broken, Slip Away, Fever Dream, Voltage Rush and Wanna Be. Dark Soul, issued by Architektur Records on 25 October 2024, is one of the first clearly identifiable Architektur releases of that run. Broken, on Samay Records, is filed as Breaks / Breakbeat / UK Bass.
Beatport has given him measurable editorial support. Voltage Rush, with TheDJBass, appeared on Voltage Connection EP (Architektur, 27 June 2025) and was included in Best New Breaks / UK Bass: June 2025. The label framed that EP as work by two Spanish producers and pointed to old-school, acid and breaks elements aimed at the floor. Fever Dream, on Old Skool Records in 2025, appeared in Best New Breaks / UK Bass: September 2025 and Warm Up Essentials 2025: Breaks / UK Bass. India, with DJ Guanxe on Architektur (9 January 2026), was selected for Best New Breaks / Breakbeat / UK Bass: January 2026.
Architektur is the most visible label association: Dark Soul, Voltage Rush, Wanna Be, India, Rhythm and Sunshine sit there, alongside remixes and EP appearances. DIRTY KITCHEN RAVE is central in 2026 — Don't Stop Me with Afghan Headspin, Gonna Change with Kid Ellipsis, Voodoo, TONIGHT, Infinity, and repeated credits on UNIVERSAL BREAKS, WE ARE DKR and the label's rave / jungle / D&B series. Br8kn Records holds a substantial run of its own: Take Me Higher with Devis Hard, Take Me Down, Show Off with Devis Hard and Maxuka, That Feeling with PhoenixRising, Melodies and Materia Oscura. Other imprints include Zyn Records, Samay Records, Solid Breaks Records, Super Plastic Records, ElectroBreakz, Old Skool Records and Spektra Recordings.

In 2026 he remains fully active as a producer and DJ, with a fast release rate across Spanish and international specialist labels.
