Xpyro is a DJ and producer from Jamilena, Jaén, working within the contemporary Andalusian breakbeat continuum. His first documented releases arrived in 2026, framing a direct, dancefloor-facing strain of Breaks and UK Bass.
Br8kn Records became the first clear home for that work. “Retro Memory” introduced the project in June 2026 and also received a remix from FunkyBitz, while the following singles “Got The Power” and “Arabian Storm” reinforced Xpyro’s connection to the label’s current breakbeat catalogue.
His activity soon extended beyond Br8kn. “Breaks Down,” made with DOPE-M for ElectroBreakz, placed the collaboration in a 135 BPM breaks setting; the pair returned with “Geminela City,” released by the same label in an electro context. Together, those records show a project willing to move between contemporary breaks and electro without leaving the club-focused framework of the Andalusian scene.
September 2026’s “Rumble Frequency” on SPACE PIZZA Records added another branch to that early run. Across this compact first catalogue, Xpyro has established a sound tied to forceful rhythmic programming, bass-weighted arrangements and the network of Spanish labels sustaining present-day breakbeat.
