WIGUEZ

Wiguez is a producer from Seville whose work sits within the contemporary Andalusian bass and breakbeat continuum. His catalogue moves between breaks, UK-influenced bass music and drum & bass, with a production approach designed for both focused listening and club-scale impact.

He began engaging with music at the age of twelve. That early interest developed into a broad electronic vocabulary rather than a commitment to one fixed subgenre, allowing his releases to move across different rhythmic structures and tempos.

Andalusian folklore is an important reference point in his artistic identity. Rather than treating local influence as decoration, Wiguez places it alongside modern bass pressure, melodic writing and detailed electronic sound design.

Breakbeat remains a meaningful part of that language. Tracks such as "Day Dreams," "From My Eyes" and "Behemoth" connect his work to the current Spanish breaks circuit, while retaining a wider bass-music perspective.

Wiguez founded LA HERMANDAD, a multi-genre label and platform created to support artists. The project extends his role beyond individual releases, linking his output to an independent network of producers and collaborators.

His releases have also appeared through Etiqueta Negra and 83, labels associated with recent Iberian breakbeat activity. This placement has made his work a regular point of contact between Seville's local scene and a wider digital bass audience.

Collaboration is central to his discography. Air Baxx is a recurring musical partner, including on "Desert Veil," while "Broken Lights" links Wiguez with MBreaks through LA HERMANDAD.

His wider catalogue also reaches into drum & bass and bass-pop crossover territory. Releases through NoCopyrightSounds include "Love Me Better" with Vizzen, "Running Wild" with Vizzen and Maestro Chives, and the 2024 EP "The Noise Will Get Us Home," made with Alltair, Josh Levoid and P-One under the Moon Farewell project.

The 2026 run of releases sharpened the breaks-facing side of his output: "Behemoth," "Day Dreams," "From My Eyes," "Broken Lights" and "Desert Veil" each placed rhythm, low-end weight and melodic atmosphere at the centre of the production.

Active in the Andalusian circuit, including b2b appearances with Air Baxx, Wiguez represents a generation of producers for whom breakbeat is part of a wider bass vocabulary. His work brings together local cultural reference, independent label building and a fluid approach to contemporary club music.
