Ricky B Mixin is a DJ and producer based in Colorado. His civil name has not been published, and neither has a city: the base is the state, not a town, and there is no source that says he was born there. He places his own roots in electro and breaks. The commercial catalogue is documented from 2025. As a DJ, the visible activity is older than the first single: Mixcloud holds sessions tagged electro and breaks, including one titled Electro Breaks.
The sound he describes — broken rhythms, heavy bass, dark melody and futuristic electronic textures — matches the four cuts that define the project. It is not a single line. Br8kn Records carries the breakbeat. DIRTY KITCHEN RAVE carries a darker electro, filed as Electro (Classic / Detroit / Modern).
The first commercial release is "Darkest Night", with PhoenixRising, on Br8kn Records on 21 November 2025. It remains among the label's highlighted tracks and is number two on PhoenixRising's Beatport top. That collaboration is the heaviest piece in the catalogue.
In 2026 he opens the other house. "Ineluctable" comes out on DIRTY KITCHEN RAVE; the digital version is dated 8 July and runs 7:45. BeatStats files it as electro and scores it 724 points in that category. "Waiting For", also on DKR, at 136 BPM and in F minor, was a Beatport exclusive from 3 September and reached other stores on the 17th. BeatStats scores it 594 points, again in electro. On the label's Electro Express V2 compilation, "Ineluctable" appears again alongside AndrewFx, Kid Ellipsis, Devis Hard, Afghan Headspin and WeZ WhaTevR, among others.
The return to breaks is "Drowning", with Crist Align Starz, on Br8kn on 31 July 2026, at 135 BPM, filed as Breaks / Breakbeat / UK Bass, with an instrumental on the same release. PhoenixRising is the joint-release collaborator. Crist Align Starz comes in as a featured voice. In August 2026 he appears on The BASSment! and in July as a guest of BYTE ME MUSIC. An afro house session, Ancestral Rhythms, talks about Caribbean roots and African, Latin, Taíno, Spanish and Portuguese influences: that is booth range, not the centre of the production.
