Pray For Bass is the joint project of Kuplay and Manu Twister. In 2016 the Elektroshok Records account stated it outright: Kuplay + Manu Twister = Pray For Bass. They work as a producer duo and as a remix project. Documented commercial activity runs at least from 2016 to the present.
Elektroshok is the historic house. "That's Sick" comes out on 9 May 2016, at 135 BPM. On 20 June 2016 the same label releases the It's A Match! EP (ESR202), with "Send A Message" and "Keep Praying". On Beatport the duo has 11 tracks on Elektroshok, more than on any other label. Also from that house are "Arabe Aranobe" and "I Gotta Groove" (2017), "Burn" and "You" (2018), "No Perro No Calle" and "Loud N Kick It", the last of those with Destroyers in 2018.
From 2017 to 2020 the catalogue opens out. "Fuck Everything" comes out on Rat Records UK on 29 May 2017, at 128 BPM, and is included in Best New Breaks for June and Must Hear Breaks for May. "Dancefloor" is on Need Money in 2018. On Wasted are "Sooner" (2019) and "Let's Go" (2020); "Let's Go" was included in Beatport's Secret Weapons: Breaks. Between 2019 and 2020 they remix The Darrow Chem Syndicate on Nipponeer Records: "The Salami Project", "Rocking The Bass" and "Malicious Venus Pt. 2".
They keep releasing after that decade. In 2023 they remix "Amanecer", by Marsal Ventura and Jbill, on Addicting Records. "Left & Right" comes out on Distorsion on 30 May 2024. "Jaime", on Need Money on 11 July 2024, at 135 BPM, is included in Best New Breaks / UK Bass for July 2024.
In 2026 the most visible label is Space Pizza Records. "Clan" comes out on 3 April and the Terrie Kynd remix on 8 May. "Las Palmas" comes out on 6 May and the Shade K remix on 19 August. Shade K and Terrie Kynd remix this chapter; they are not members of the duo. Other houses in the catalogue are Base Industry Records and Hot Cakes.
