Müme is the breakbeat project of Francisco José de Mora González, a DJ and producer from Jerez de la Frontera. His releases belong to the contemporary Andalusian breaks continuum while circulating through a wider network of Spanish and European independent labels.
The early sequence of “Yesteryear” and “Dalesser” on Old Skool Records, released across 2022 and 2023, introduced a concise production language built from programmed break rhythms and electronic melodic detail. That directness has remained a constant even as the project has moved between labels and adjacent bass styles.
In 2024, 13monkeys Records released the Bailame EP, alongside further titles including “Akiratori” and “Right Now.” The label’s Glitch Hop framing points to an important facet of Müme’s work: broken-beat structures recast through synthetic, sharply contoured sound design. His tracks also appeared on the label’s Essential Collection Of Monkey 2024 compilations.
“Dangerous,” issued by Solid Breaks Records in 2024, placed Müme in the Breaks / Breakbeat / UK Bass lane at 134 BPM. His contribution to the label’s Rewind Vol.1 compilation connected that release to a broader snapshot of current breaks production.
The Blind Spot EP for 83, released in 2024, clarified the project’s machine-minded side. Its title track and “Artificial Intelligence” combine broken rhythms with tightly arranged electronic textures, while subsequent 83 material including “JSHE” and “Control Your Mind” extended the relationship with the label.
Raveart Records has been another recurring platform, beginning with “Aura” in 2024 and continuing through tracks such as “Limerencia,” “1984,” “No Stop” and “Baby.” The label also issued “Fresh,” Müme’s 2025 collaboration with URBANO, as well as “Reset” in 2026.
Collaboration is a recurring part of this catalogue without displacing the project’s rhythmic identity. “Deep Chamber,” made with Orebeat for Distorsion Records, and “Baby,” with Sergei Orange, place Müme alongside producers working across the present Spanish breaks network. “Kakarot,” with Prody, continued that exchange in 2026.
His link with Distorsion Records also includes “Bones,” while releases such as “Vintage” for Elektroshok Records show the project working beyond a single label home. 333Frequency, Close Your Eyes and Toast & Jam Recordings further map a discography distributed across the independent breaks circuit.
Müme has also remixed Future Funk Squad’s “The Technique” for En:Vision Recordings. Rather than treating that connection as a retro exercise, the remix brings an established breakbeat composition into the project’s more contemporary, electronically detailed approach.
The 2026 singles “Love And Sanity” for DELAFRÄ Records and “Electric Mind” for en:vision recordings, together with titles including “Flexen,” “Cyclone” and “Origen,” underline the ongoing breadth of the catalogue. Müme’s defining thread is the meeting of modern Spanish breaks, UK-bass pacing and glitch-inflected electronic construction, developed from Jerez through a sustained run of label-led releases.
