DJ Uncle Noah is a DJ and producer from Santa Ana, California. He has worked at the intersection of funk, soul, rare groove and electronica since the 1980s. He hosts programmes on KDVS 90.3 FM in Davis and KUCI 88.9 FM in Irvine, and plays both underground sessions and events with a wider audience. The productions draw on that selector's ear and sit in breakbeat electronica.
He releases on Abduction Productions, the California project that places its work in West Coast breaks since 1995. Suburban Shift comes out on 31 December 2020, eight cuts: Status Update, Child of Zion, Dangerous Rave Parties, Dreams of Peace with DJ Shortee, Infringement, Deckers and Jackers, The Hyperion Slide and Morning Starlight. I and Me follows on 16 June 2022, at 125 BPM. Yes Yes, on 14 September 2023, at 132 BPM, also as a Silver Bullet Edit. MIDI Music, with The Harem King, comes out on 7 June 2024 on the same label, at 136 BPM.
In 2025 he collaborates with Javo Scratch on Dirty Kitchen Rave, released on WE ARE DKR Vol. 8 on 15 August, at 135 BPM, and later issued again on UNIVERSAL BREAKS Vol. 12.
