Beatloud is the project of Jaime López, a producer and DJ associated with Huelva and the contemporary Spanish breaks circuit. His work brings breakbeat into contact with UK bass, 2-step and bassline, retaining a rhythmic vocabulary that distinguishes his catalogue from more straight-ahead breaks production.
Early SoundCloud uploads from 2015, including “Protool,” “Golden Key” and “The Case,” document the project before its sustained label run. These first tracks point to a broader exploratory phase before the breaks-centred direction became more clearly defined.
That direction came into focus at the end of 2019 with “Bass Flow” on SPACE PIZZA Records. It opened a long-running relationship with the label, which became the principal home for a sequence of concise, bass-weighted productions.
During 2020, SPACE PIZZA issued “Bassline,” “Parking” and “Let It.” The titles established a recurring balance between broken drums, garage-style syncopation and bassline references rather than treating those strands as separate stylistic detours.
“Take That,” made with Bowser and Shade K, added a collaborative dimension to this early period. Its release through SPACE PIZZA connected Beatloud with producers working across Spanish breaks and contemporary bass music.
His output intensified through 2021 with “Two Cappuccinos,” “Saxo Rhythm,” “Decline,” “Bowling,” “Showtime,” “Come To Die,” “Ready,” “Keep It,” “Shrooms” and “Nike Shoes.” The same period included his bootleg of Aban Wheel’s “Daydream,” initially released through SPACE PIZZA and subsequently listed by LW Recordings.
LW Recordings also later listed “Shrooms,” while “Get Down” appeared through ONE7AUDIO. Those releases widened the label setting around a catalogue still closely identified with SPACE PIZZA.
In 2022, “Feeling So Good,” “The Way,” “Krunk” and “Freeze” extended this run. “The Way” later appeared via Nothing But, and “Freeze” was subsequently listed by LW Recordings, giving further circulation to tracks first released through his core label.
The 2023 sequence of “Arabic,” “Shuriken,” “Alley Oop” and “Heisenberg” kept breakbeat at the centre while sharpening the use of vocal cuts, melodic figures and more pointed percussion. “Heisenberg” later appeared through LW Recordings as well.
“Kmon,” “Fast Lane” and “Cuts” carried the catalogue into 2024. That year also brought the SoundCloud session “BeatLoud - Monkey Rhythms Vol 01,” a DJ mix that places his productions within a wider flow of breaks, garage-inflected rhythms and bass music.
The following releases maintained both the SPACE PIZZA connection and a growing network of collaborators and labels: “Pardillo (Beatloud Remix)” revisited a Shade K track, “Memories” and “Chemistry” returned to SPACE PIZZA, and “Cronic (2021)” paired him with JottaFrank for LW Recordings.
In 2026, Beatloud released “Silent Cry” on 13monkeys Records before returning to SPACE PIZZA with “Move Your Body,” “All Day” and his remix of DJ Tokyo’s “Badboy.” “Deep Hit” and “Fuck That” for Funktasty Crew Records, followed by “Gimme More” on Raveart Records, show the project moving through a broader Spanish and European breaks network without losing its bass-minded rhythmic identity.
