Basstyler is the name of Daniel Galván Gil, a DJ and producer from Lora del Río, in the province of Seville. The alias — bass stylist — comes from the first low end he built himself. The interest starts at twelve, self-taught. The first professional set is in 2014. The commercial catalogue begins in 2017 and is still open. The centre of the sound is breaks, breakbeat and UK bass, with a UK garage and bassline strand that is no longer an occasional detour.

Funktasty Crew is not a label he merely releases on. He co-founds it, as a promotion outfit and as an imprint, with Diego Cortés Morón (Seveng) and José Gómez-Millán. The label itself counts him among the members of the collective, and the crew's site places him in its All Stars. The catalogue's first house is another one: Elektroshok Records. Bass Revelation EP appears there on 15 May 2017; Afrobass EP and Bad Boy EP follow the same year. In 2017 the Winter Festival names him best national revelation producer. Those years also carry a Trackitdown number one, a Beatport top 15 and mentions in DJ Mag: marks of circulation, not the story.

From 2018 the weight shifts to Funktasty Crew Records. Party Hard EP, from 15 October, with Let's Party and Get Down, fixes that belonging. The breaks catalogue on Beatport runs past two hundred tracks. Funktasty is the main house; Nipponeer carries another long run; Space Pizza, Distorsion, Raveart, Rough Division, 83, Creative Sound, Musication and Hot Cakes are further outlets. In 2020 the cut Breakbeat, issued as a free download, sums up the line on his account: 100% breakbeat.

The remixer's role is part of the job. In 2019 he remixes SellRude's Doio. In 2024, BLOU's Selecta. With Bad Legs he signs the remix of Future Message by The Darrow Chem Syndicate: the credits are Daniel Galván Gil and Daniel Parrilla Morente. Could Be Mad, from 2024, is the meeting with DJ WAVS. Dooms Day, with Bass Master, comes out on 13 June 2025 on Rough Division at 136 BPM, and credits Daniel Galván Gil and Curro González.

In 2026 the Funktasty run is still open: Snowy, Fragments, Strong, Discordia, Holydope and Valeria. Braindead is scheduled for 16 October. On Raveart, Pixels appears, and Thats Right with Dany BS.
