Vital Drums is the recording project of Alejandro Gómez Campos, a producer working primarily in contemporary breakbeat. Composer and producer credits on titles such as Do my things, Different Star, Dream off and Monster attach that civil name to the alias.

The commercial catalogue becomes visible in 2025. Early store releases include Yeah on Sound Perfect Breakz Records and Siik Boy on Br8kn Records, both in October, followed by Soundboy on Sound Perfect Breakz in November and Burn on Br8kn in December.

A SoundCloud profile under the same name was already commenting on breakbeat sessions and tracks in 2021 and 2022. That places the alias inside the specialist ecosystem before the run of digital singles, without establishing a published discography from those years.

2026 is the year the catalogue expands at high frequency. Among the titles in circulation are Kumbara with Eskila, Respect, Tranzit, Uk Boy, Feel it, Do my things, Roll Out, Tomahawk, Monster with FunkyBitz, Different Star, Teke, Back On The Keep, Dream off and Controlling.

Sound Perfect Breakz Records is one of the project's main houses. Yeah, Soundboy, Feel it, Do my things and Dream off all appear on that imprint, and the label lists Vital Drums among its recurring artists.

Frequency Fusion Records concentrates several 2026 singles, including Respect, Uk Boy, Tomahawk, Different Star and Teke. Tomahawk, released on 29 April 2026, is listed on Beatport at 137 BPM in Breaks / Breakbeat / UK Bass.

The discography also reaches Br8kn Records, Samay Records, Delicious Groove Records, Banana Club, Creative Sound Records and ÄwÄ Records. Several of those imprints operate in the current Spanish breaks circuit; Samay, for example, is based in Loja.

Not every title sits strictly in breakbeat. Soundboy and Feel it are filed on Beatport as UK Garage / Bassline, so the project also works that adjacent lane.

Two collaborations are clearly documented. Kumbara, credited to Eskila and Vital Drums, was released by Samay Records on 2 January 2026. Monster, by Vital Drums and FunkyBitz, followed on the same label in May 2026; credits there also name Antonio Carrasco Peña alongside Alejandro Gómez Campos as producer and composer.

Do my things reached Beatport on 8 April 2026 and Roll Out on 10 April 2026, both after the first 2025 singles rather than as part of that opening year. Within the present-day breaks catalogue, Vital Drums is a high-output digital producer: breakbeat and breaks at the centre, UK garage and bassline as a documented side, and a release pace that in 2026 is already dense across a small set of specialist labels.
