Paket is Cristian Borrego Cuevas, a Seville DJ and producer of breakbeat. The civil name is on his official SoundCloud profile, in the biography Space Cowboys published for a 2021 RIPEcast, and on composer credits for his own releases, including The Formula.
He began as a DJ and producer in 2014. Apple Music documents Extermination Album that same year, so the date is not only a later promotional line. According to the Space Cowboys biography, his first documented gig was in 2016, at Heroes vs Villains with Dirty Break. The same text says he finished second that year in the I.B.A. awards as breakthrough producer. The primary International Breaks Awards standing has not been independently reconstructed here, so that placing is given as his published biography, not as a separately checked result.
The early productions were marked by tear-out and nu skool breaks: heavy drums and aggressive bass. Over time the writing became more melodic. His current biography stresses harmonies, melodies and aggressive low end; Beatport now describes his signature as a mix of melody, energy and groove. The commercial catalogue sits almost entirely in Breaks / Breakbeat / UK Bass, typically around 134–138 BPM.
In 2018 he founded Empire Of Music Records. DJ profiles, Beatport and the biography published by Supra Music Hall all state that date. The imprint is not a side credit. A large part of his work went out there, including full albums: A Long Trip on 13 January 2020 (twelve tracks, catalogue EOM040); The Last Piece (The Álbum) on 8 February 2021 (twenty-two tracks); and My Team Breaks in 2022 (nine tracks). My Team Breaks is built around collaborations with Spanish-scene producers including The Brainkiller, DJ Tortu, Bad Legs, Basstyler, Perfect Kombo, Strongbass, Flekino and The Blitz.
He is also a member of FunkTasty Crew. His official profile presents the pair FunkTasty Crew / Empire Of Music, and Beatport describes him expressly as a FunkTasty Crew member.
Two official remixes sit in the international breaks circuit. Ctrl-Z & Screwface — Kung Fu Funk (Paket Remix) was issued by Break Beat Connection on 30 November 2022. Wizard & Ivory — Jonny 5 (Paket Remix) followed on the same imprint on 10 July 2024. His biography states that he was the first Spanish artist to deliver an official remix for Ctrl-Z & Screwface, specifically Kung Fu Funk. That claim is repeated on his profile, on Supra and on Beatport; an independent check that no earlier Spanish official remix exists has not been made here, so it is recorded as his published claim.
2021 also took the name outside Andalusia. He played Southside Breaks in Bristol. The same year Space Cowboys, the historic San Francisco collective, invited him for a RIPEcast Exclusive Mix and presented him as a DJ and producer from Seville.
He has remained commercially active. In 2026 the store pages show a high release rate — Back To Me, Galaxy, Trappin, Days With You, La Banda, Shadow Song, White Beach, She Never Breaks, The Underground, Silence Speaks, Break Legacy and further titles — not only on Empire Of Music but on Raveart Records, Br8kn Records, Sound Perfect Breakz Records, Funktasty Crew Records and Rough Division. Specialist Breaks / Breakbeat / UK Bass artist lists have recently carried titles such as La Banda, Trappin, Rio, Back To Me and Flow sistem. Those rankings move; they show current circulation, not a fixed place.
The booth side has stayed in parallel. At Raveart Summer Festival 2026 he played at 05:00 on the main Summer Festival stage. He is also billed with Funktasty at Híbrida Festival on 29 August 2026 in Conil de la Frontera.
Paket is therefore a Seville breakbeat producer with published work from 2014, a label of his own from 2018, official remixes for established international names, and a 2026 catalogue that is still moving through stores and festival bills.
