The birthplace of modern breakbeat culture. UK took acid house, techno, hip-hop and Jamaican soundsystem culture and fused them into rave, breakbeat hardcore, jungle and the nu skool breaks movement. Fabric, pirate radio stations and record shops like those in Camden were the infrastructure.
